I own a vintage Datejust two tone 18kt gold and steel Rolex Watch. It has a jubilee band in the two colors, the case is steel and the bezel is 18kt gold. The dial is black and has gold Roman numbers.It is the most expensive jewelry I have ever bought for myself.  It cost me $3500 in 2002. It has a plastic dial. I'm told because it is not vintage it is worth much more.

The date has to be changed manually. That is, if you are advancing one day for the number you have to wind it ahead 24 hours. Don't wind it backwords in time to change the date. Only go forwards. This can be a lot of winding if you have to go ahead say 25 days for the number to become correct. Do that in your spare time waiting at the airport or similar. Or maybe don't bother with the date.

The back has no inscriptions. The clasp has beautiful Rolex insignias. This watch has been worn by me.

The band is 18kt gold. It is a Jubilee style. That mean that they are small overlapping links.
