This has been a topic of debate lately, and I think it is rather simple to keep your Rolex and other luxury watches clean. Soap and water are staples of my basic method for keeping luxury watches clean. I will say that using a dishwashing detergent is not advised as people have stated that the grease cutting properties will dry out the gaskets prematurely. A better idea is to wash your bracelet regularly with a mild hand soap and your fingers. If you use a soap with lotion and that doesn't dry out your hands then your watch andbracelet will be fine as well. I rinse my Rolex on a weekly basis and have never had any issues of build up on them. Always take the time to close the crown and be sure it can't unscrew. If there is any moisture then bring the watch to a competent repair facility and have it repaired. This is just a suggestion and is not the only way to clean your Rolex or other luxury watch. This is all I have had to do and have never needed any other tool.
